New Work Boats - Layouts
The layout, both interior and exterior, of a workboat can have a huge impact on her functionality. We will work with you to make your workboat as practical and useful as possible.
The Rakiura Express (below) is a 20m alloy vessel used for ferrying passengers and cargo between Bluff Harbour and Stewart Island. She carries all sorts of things - from building materials to supplies for the mutton-bird harvesters on the small islands in the region. And at the end of the season - mutton birds packed in brine. She has been designed with plenty of deck space, and equipped with a HIAB crane for easy cargo management.
The Phoenix (photos below and at right) has been designed to accommodate a crew of 4. With galley and seating area above decks, and bunk room below, she is compact but comfortable.
